The bodies, fretboards, and headstocks are bound with snakewood. The bullet-shaped brass truss-rod cover functions as a label for the instruments.  In addition to a double-action truss-rod, each of these guitars has two pieces of carbon-fiber reinforcement for neck stability in the neck.
